At the firm, Claire Gruppo is head of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), a role in which she originates and closes transactions. She also recruits investment bankers and structures their compensation packages.

Prior to her current role, Claire Gruppo was CEO and managing director of GLC Partners, which she co-founded. She led the company from 1992 to 2017, when it merged with TerraNova Capital Partners. She has published articles on the topic, speaks at industry conferences, and frequently appears on Fox Business and CNBC to comment on M&A trends.
